Day 2 Odsherred, Denmark

We hiked a moraine today, which is basically a hill formed by an advancing glacier what pushes sediments in its path. This hill is only 125m but is one of the highest peaks in Denmark. There was a gorgeous view. We also ate lunch in a castle and ate a very floral plate. It reminded me of the type of food they would present in the world famous Noma restaurant in Denmark. We walked around the castle for a bit. It was not the biggest castle I've ever seen, but it was elegant.  After Lunch we went to a Vineyard and tried danish wine. The person giving us a tour was the organic farmer of the vineyard and explained to us how they grew grapes in the cold regions of Denmark. The land is extremely fertile which makes the grapes grow, but to be honest none of us were too crazy about the wine. We stayed in a hostel that night nearby. It was my first experience in a hostel and it was really awesome. I think its an amazing way to save money, but still be comfortable. We had the whole place to ourselves, so we had a nice party with all our class mates.

Our Professor is 6 months pregnant and still made it up the hill... with a smile on her face
