Funen

Yesterday I went to an ultimate frisbee tournament in Funen. This is the island attached to Zealand where Copenhagen is. The tournament was played in Odense which is another major city in Denmark and I played in a group in the "talent division". This division is intended for teams which are new and developing. Major clubs also send smaller teams with new players so they can also get a feel for how the danes play ultimate.
Overall I had a great time experiencing danish ultimate culture. At the end of each game, both teams come together in a huddle and give some thoughts about the game: how their team played, and also how the opponents played.
